Talk Title: Evaluating for microvascular and endothelial function at the intensive care towards personalized therapies with hybrid diffuse optics

Turgut Durduran is an ICREA professor at ICFO (Spain) leading the Medical Optics Group. As a physicist he is an expert in biomedical optics. He studies the physics of photon propagation in biological tissues and builds instruments for measurements of hemodynamics and oxygen metabolism for clinical and research applications. The interdisciplinary group works in a large network of collaborators from hospitals and biomedical centers around the world.
