Dr. Mamadou Diop is the Chair of the Undergraduate Program in Medical Biophysics and an Associate Professor in the Departments of Medical Biophysics and Biomedical Engineering at Western University. He directs the Translational Biophotonics Laboratory and serves as a Principal Investigator in the Imaging Division at Lawson Research Institute, St. Joseph’s Healthcare London (Ontario, Canada). His research focuses on developing innovative optical techniques for noninvasive, point-of-care neuromonitoring and the early detection of sepsis.
