ISOTT Young Researchers Symposium 2025
The ISOTT Young Researchers Committee is delighted to announce the ISOTT Young Researchers Symposium, an event dedicated to trainees and early-career researchers.
Date and Time: Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 10:00 to 14:00 (the times are provisional and might be adjusted)

This symposium is a platform to spotlight young researchers, offering them the opportunity to share their work, exchange ideas, engage with peers and professionals from diverse backgrounds, and socialize in a friendly and informal environment.
We invite students, postdocs, clinical trainees, new faculty, and other early-career researchers to present their work, receive valuable feedback, and participate in insightful discussions and networking. Each participant will deliver a short research talk (approximately 5 minutes), followed by an informal discussion.
Call for Presentations:
We encourage young researchers to request an opportunity to present at the symposium. Please note that submission of presentations for the Young Researchers Symposium will be possible during the Abstract Submission process, that will open on 5 February 2025.
Aims and Objectives:
The ISOTT 2025 Young Researchers Symposium is designed to support the growth and development of early-career researchers. The session aims to:
- Support early-career researchers by fostering networking opportunities in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Provide a low-pressure platform for participants to practice presenting their research and receive constructive feedback.
- Discuss challenges in research with experienced professionals, gaining practical insights and advice.
- Build connections among peers on the first day of the conference to create a friendly atmosphere for the remainder of the event.
- Introduce cutting-edge topics and emerging trends in the field, encouraging curiosity and exploration.
- Facilitate interaction between junior researchers, senior academics, industry professionals, and leaders in the field.
- Promote collaboration, inspiring participants to form partnerships for future research projects.
