She is undertaking a PhD investigating placental oxygenation and haemodynamics, with a focus on advanced imaging and computational techniques to better understand placental function in complicated pregnancies. She leads the clinical aspect of the PROSPEKT and MERIT studies at UCLH, developing a near-infrared spectroscopy, machine-learning\u2013driven fetal monitoring tool for use in both antenatal and intrapartum care, and played a key role in establishing this work at AIIMS New Delhi.<\/p>\n<p>She completed her Medical degree and BSc in Pharmacology at Cardiff University before embarking on specialty training in obstetrics and gynaecology.
