She obtained her Doctor of Science degree from ETH Zurich in 2021, where her research focused on medical imaging with near-infrared light, and her Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering with a bioimaging track from ETH Zurich in 2015. She received the Melvin H. Knisely Award from International Society on Oxygen Transport to Tissue (ISOTT) in 2024, honoring her as an outstanding young investigator.
